I work at a library, so not only am I book-enabled every day, but also it’s literally my job to read all the book marketing newsletters and so my TBR list is rapidly approaching “not in your mortal lifetime.”

Birches are pretty great (birch syrup and sodas are found in Eastern European cuisines/diets). Do not recommend pine or rubber (latex). Manilkara chicle has a good texture but better with flavorings (used to make chewing gum).
