Meme-ing our way through

I read “immortal” as “immoral” at first and was like… This is new how???

Isn’t this “Ringworld”?

Really, it seems like the problem won’t be the billionaires, but those poor unfortunate billionaire’s families who will no longer have generational wealth, because greedy great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandpa scrooge won’t share it.

I mean, the Vanderbilt’s and Rockefeller’s still have all the compounding of their wealth; it’s just been diluted through inheritance. Here immortal Cornelius and John D. would just get to keep it all.

But they’d basically be kings because of the money they control. Which isn’t too different from current day billionaires.

No one should be a billionaire. Even if you write an incredible children’s book series and seem to have a legitimate path of earning the money that didn’t involve a ton of exploitations like most billionaires. (But hey, ended up being a terrible person anyway)
