I don’t think its going to deliver what you’re after. From memory she was the feminine sometimes damsel in distress figure? I don’t think 1985 had a great focus on well developed female cartoon characters?

It’s a different world than it was in 1985. Maybe you could see if anyone is writing Gummi Bears Fanfic where Sunni is an empowered woman kicking arse and taking names in the gummiverse instead of dreaming about being a princess and getting kidnapped?
