I feed the cat in the morning when I get up, and at night when she comes back in from her outdoor evening shenanigans (she loves being outside in the evening). Because we often use food as a lure to come back inside, she has now decided that every time she comes inside, she should be fed. If we have the back door open for airflow in the summer, she will purposefully come in and out frequently, hoping to be fed.

I am super mean and feed Mr. Obnoxious a set amount of low-carb food twice daily on a schedule, and he gets nothing else (except yesterday he caught a lizard, but hopefully it, too, was low carb). He’s pretty sure he’s going to die at ten to seven, am and pm.
I sent the “local cat” meme to husband and former housemate - they both were amused.

We’ve gotten takeout once, but it was pizza that we reheated on a pizza stone up to temperature before eating.
