The royal we! I don’t remember where we got this from, because it’s definitely from somewhere, but now in my household when someone does this the other person says “we? Are we in France?” Idk it’s endlessly funny to me.

I do still think people are products of their time, but look how they made it work within their understanding and norms… “they had a funeral…” “The Lord put it in their heads…”
