Lots of those were great, but question: Is gas really that expensive in California?
Because it’s like half that here…

Last weekend it was above $5 at least in the Bay Area according to friends who live there, so I 100% believe this.

I do find it a bit funny as the last time we saw prices like this was in the late 2000s when prices were similarly around $5/gallon, but over a decade ago (so objectively worse, I guess). Which doesn’t make it any less hard if you are budget restricted, though.

(That last time I took photos multiple times a week, as the prices went up NEARLY EVERY DAY.)

Nooooooo

ok here’s my locked and loaded rant about buying vowels on wheel of fortune. WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS?!? in 95% of cases it is a complete waste of money and just makes the purchaser look stupid. i truly hate when people buy vowels!!!

And that’s why no one can buy houses. We’re all wasting our money on avocado toast and vowels.

there go the millennials, destroying the vowel industry

On a mystery.board with no clues, a vowel can fill in a lot. On a close to solved it can rule something in or out

agreed! but in most vowel purchase scenarios, that’s not the case and it is infuriating and wasteful!

It’s like they just want to prove to you they know another letter.

Yeah, we know you know the letter. Just solve it.

(Felt weird sharing a kids face like that so I censored it, but if you’re curious it’s posted everywhere without censoring. He’s making silly faces)

I wasn’t entirely sure where to put this, but honestly, tiktok music chain video that starts with a cat lapping milk is definitely the kind of content to get you through the apocalypse:

The first song the 2 women are singing is Nature Boy by Nat King Cole, you might know it from Moulin Rouge. The rap part is apparently original though and I’m mad the lyrics were put up and not a link to that guy’s artist page or whatever because it was awesome
