Meme-ing our way through

I kind of want to watch an episode just to see who these people are? Like what kind of person goes on a fix our sex life reality show to begin with and of those people who goes on the Goop version of it?

I’ve never had a merit increase over 3%. Most are in the 1.5% range. For a top performer review. Mid performers get like 1/2%, low obviously doesn’t get a merit increase. That is apparently normal for my industry. When I started at company A, in 2005ish I was told to get more money you had to leave and come back. That was true for company B and C too…

I’ve never seen a cost of living increase. I thought those were myths.

I’ve only heard about cost of living increases when my spouse was told his department wouldn’t be getting them any more during the last recession.

That second from the last  I constantly apologize to my therapist for talking so much or for accidentally starting to say something before she is done talking

Yes I have ABSOLUTELY done exactly that. I saw it and was like “ah yes hello personal attack”.

Ha, I do this too….I’ll be rambling on for 10 min, and then be like “sorry I am monopolizing the conversation” and then I realize I am literally paying her to professionally listen to my rambling haha. But it still feels rude!

lol relatable. i feel like the reason i pay my therapist is so i can talk and talk and be as big of a bummer as necessary and not feel bad about it like i would if it were one of my friends.

Oh my god memes are my nursing outreach work :joy::joy::grimacing:

“ The study, however, suggested that memes not only provide mood-boosting entertainment, but also can serve as a valuable communication tool for disseminating information about stressful issues, like the Covid-19 pandemic.”

I know it’s not the point, but that salmonella notice… why not just COOK THE ONIONS??? (throw them away? pft!)

That’s what we did last night. We had an unlabeled raw onion. So we sliced it and sauteed it.
But we’ve been eating from the bag of them for like a week, so they were probably fine anyway.

I think because of contact transfer issues- they don’t feel safe making a full public advisory when people don’t know how to reliably not transfer via knife, cutting board, etc.

We found out about the recall after I made a salad with raw onions. Ate it anyway. May not make a new salad with raw onions anymore, though.
