Another way to get BBC miniseries or any other UK shows - or ABC shows if you want to watch some Australian stuff - is to (coughcough) get a nice lovely VPN, which will allow you to change your location which would THEORETICALLY allows you to use iplayer. and also THEORETICALLY access the UK netflix options.
