Foraging was a major success - piles of daylily and the first elder flowers drying now. Then light watering/ fertilizing and weeding in the garden. To be determined if I do anything else today.
Final catch up–biked five days a week this week, plus a day of carpentry, so by far the most active I’ve been this month despite some serious storms that came through. Hopefully I can keep it up going forward.
May was, uh, not a good month for challenging myself.
Something something carry on.
I think the june challenge is “no challenge right now”. I did consider GratiJune - daily gratitude.
If you wanna use the group gratitude journal for that, go for it! I’d be happy to try to pop into that as much as possible.
Boon in June - charitable giving / acts?
I was thinking of doing a meditation thing. Not sure how yet though.
Is “panic-cry yourself to sleep after refreshing horror after horror on twitter” a challenge?
Maybe a Caring June?
Care for yourself or your community – whether by practice of gratitude, charitable giving, making time for meditation or exercise, doing direct mutual aid, etc.
More of an October thing (Halloween)…?
Not unless you include a challenge about how much chocolate you can eat or how much wine you can drink. Or both.
Ugh but I don’t like chocolate or drink alcohol. My drug of choice is panic.
Hmm. Donuts? Something else?
The frequently mentioned ghost pepper chips?
I like this one but can’t think of a snappy name. Community June-ity.
I need badge name suggestions for this challenge, please.
- Padawan for Change
- Habitual Jedi

I’m kinda dying over this. Thanks for the laugh, Ducky!
I don’t think I did a final check in for this challenge? I was doing well with keeping up the numbers of things out until the last two days when I needed help with getting stuff out of the store room and it all became too much. I plan on keeping tabs on the last two days worth of items and slowly getting them out of the house over the next month (maybe?).
