My toddler loves. Loves. Cheese. She can’t have much cheese because then she doesn’t poop. Sorry yall. Anyway, every time we go grocery shopping she yells “EEESH! EESH!” And points desperately at the cheese section. I’ve never been so aware of how many different places grocery stores keep their cheese.
Yes Bracken has a toddler and a newborn still. True facts. Time is a lie. I’m willing to allow that the toddler is on the cusp of preschooler-hood so that term may also be used for the older child but toddler also applies.
A recent photo of them walking down a trail and holding hands they match clothes nearly every day, because Latte loves to dress them and Luna does not super care what she wears at this point. It’s adorable but I’m pretty sure people think I’m an insane mom who is choosing to do this myself
Haha it’s me! The girls love to match and I always feel self conscious about it. Someone at the school yesterday called us “the family with the copy paste daughters.”
On the flip side, if one gets misplaced you can point to the other ‘and she is wearing that’
(my boys did not care about dressing the same but when we were at the beach or travelling or in a crowded place I would dress them in a ‘uniform’ for identification purposes)
When I was a toddler, my mom would dress the five of us in coordinating shirts when we traveled. It made it easier for her to herd her cats, lol. We were all within 6.5 years, so when I was 2-3, my oldest brother was 9-10. One time on a weekend trip, I wandered off (I had a penchant for doing so). A stranger brought me back and said, “I think she belongs to you. At least she matches the rest.”
Yeah, my reply initially to her teacher in our parent teacher meeting was “well, I wondered if it was going to be Santa or God first”
Luckily it turns out her teacher is an atheist and thought it was hilarious, and just pulled her aside and gently reinforced that people believe all sorts of different things. But apparently her daughter did exactly the same thing when she was little, and when she got home she called her daughter right away and told her about it
