Sometimes I wonder if I spoil my cat. But he doesn’t have a yurt or an ipad, so I guess not!

I showed the sloth and turtle to my husband, and he stood stock still, and dramatically looked over like a cut scene from the office. The accuracy is unmatched.

I am just thoroughly enjoying the discussion on Threads about all the references Sarah J Maas has used because I know a lot but am learning more mythology & fantasy to read, even though I haven’t read her books yet. Anyway apparently the collective fandom has started to say others are re-using SJM’s idea when the ideas they think others are borrowing are actually source myths etc. and not anything she created for her worlds.
I quite like a book that weaves a bunch of different things together so this might actually be the thing that prompts me to read them?
