Supporting evidence for Mosasaurus being great:
Dino feathers:
Neither Mosasaurus nor Ichthyosaurus is a dinosaur.
/nerd
Why? Do they count as fish or have we figured out they’re something different than was originally thought when the skeletons were assembled?
They’re extinct marine reptiles, but they aren’t dinosaurs. They also aren’t very closely related to each other.
Here’s a (stolen) simplified clade; plesiosaurs are in Plesiosauria; Mosasours are in Lepidosauria (as are modern snakes and lizards), then dinosaurs (and a whole bunch of other shit) are in Archosauria:
Archosauria:
Neat!
Brontosaurus still has my heart, even though I’m pretty sure that’s not his name anymore. Allosaurus?
I always pick Parasaurolophus or Stegosaurus. Ankylosaurs are pretty cool too.
My 6 year old loves the Pachycephalosaurus, because they run into each other with their giant hard heads.
No doubt

I listened to “The Anthropocene Reviewed: Essays on a Human-Centered Planet” by John Green and my favorite part of the whole book was his solution to the groundhog in his garden.
I’d much rather grow a tiny bonus garden for the resident critters than Elmer Fudd it up
