Props to that German guy, a good portion of Americans sadly could not fill out a blank map of the United States.
I can identify ONE German state, and that’s because part of my family comes from there.
Who though having FIFTY of them was a good idea anyway?

Hahaha that map is amazing. When I was living in Paris someone asked about where specifically in the US I’m from and as we were talking about Washington DC (since it’s the closest landmark people know to where I’m from) I mentioned that DC is “further south” than my hometown and they were like “ah yes, Texas!!” And we had a laugh while I tried to explain just how much land is between DC and Texas in my nonnative tongue
