This is Bobbin and H and Bobbin’s Honorary Uncle B. I foresee much mildly destructive science in her future with those 2.

I don’t know what SirB and I will do if Latte isn’t a little scientist. The mildly destructive science is one of the big appeals of having a child! :joy:

My concern is that when H, Uncle B, and Bobbin get together for this I’m going to need to supervise and make sure it doesn’t go from mildly destructive to actually dangerous. Between the two adults there’s plentiful knowledge but not always enough common sense :joy:

As evidenced by last night’s video chat about realistic ways to build a lightsaber out of a gamma knife…

Hmmm. Come to think of it, my husband DID bring down a section of our cities power grid making a rail gun in high school. :woman_facepalming: Mildly destructive is possibly in the eye of the beholder… :grimacing:

I always had mares, and my mom always had geldings. I’m not sure why I hate myself so much

My mom’s had both and I’ve ridden both. The easiest was a standard breed gelding. Next challenging was a standard breed mare. Most challenging was a non standard breed gelding (Nokota-- literally classified as half feral, they’re cool as hell but also OOFTA). He was a job and a half-- getting bucked off him is what broke her arm a few years back. I never rode him. He never got to the “ready for anyone” stage and she sold him a year after she broke her arm.

This has been your off topic tangent.

My high school mare was totally bomb proof by the time I graduated. I sold her to a family friend when I left for college. He had a heart attack while out hunting one year, and she kept him on her back and took him all the way back to camp on her own. Good horse. Could be a sassy shit though.

End of my own side tangent lol.

Everyone please keep talking about horses, I miss them so much and all I want to do these days is live in the boondocks with a garden and goats and ponies.
