I forgot about this! When I had actual 1099 income from a pet sitting job, I was only able to write off a few things. I know you did I think a livestream I’m going to go back and find about this and have discussed it elsewhere, but do you (or anyone else) have a favorite resource for figuring out what counts as a deductible expense?

From checking back in with folks, it is sounding like for the short term a combination of under the table as much as possible and having a plan to write of 1099 expenses if needed may be the way we go.

Edit: it looks like most of what we purchas maybe could fall under “work supplies”? And maybe some home office/transportation stuff, as we definitely use our home for storing and sorting donations, prepping food, etc. and car for transporting stuff….
