My daughter has a neighborhood cat like this (okay, 3. There are 3 different cats she has standing engagements with).
Here’s her and Toby today, exploring a local stream.
She sees Toby anytime we go on a weekday afternoon on a specific trail in the early afternoon.
And here’s her and SuperCat, playing at the playground. She sees SuperCat weekend mornings, if no dogs are offleashing in the area.
The third cat is a neighbor’s cat, and she sees her any time neighbor takes her dogs for a walk- usually Friday evenings.
My cat introduced me to his friends today. They seem nice. They were glad to meet his people
It is good to know the cat lady legacy will continue to the next generation.
I would like my sacrifice to be noted though. I am desperately allergic to cats. And I need to hover to make sure both cat and toddler play nice. This murders me on the regular, but brings such joy to both child and cats that I simply can’t refuse.
