In my Zumba class today the girl behind me was crying softly. I asked her if I could give her a hug and she said yes, and didn’t realize how much she needed it and it had been a really bad week. The was still a bit of a mess when we were leaving so I told her I was forcing another hug on her.
Fwiw she is essentially a stranger because we have never really talked before. I’m glad I could do something so small to make her know that other people do care.
