No time to add up all the last week’s spending atm but we succeeded in staying under our fun money goal, plus we found Halloween costumes in our closet and didn’t need to spend any money there.

Belated final check in!
Groceries: $468.25, under $500 so thats ok (doesnt include fresh fruit and veg as that’s a perk of a vollie role i have)
Discretionary (eating out, fun, homewares etc): still at $460.28 (stayed the same as last check in simply because the weekend fell on nov 1st!) Higher than expected so im going to watch this category going forward…

Belated check-in:
Come out to $895.73/$850, not terrible.
I think two things are clear:
- Less fancy coffee would save me $50-80 a month, which is sadly probably worth it
- Every time Wizard goes grocery shopping we spend a SHIT TON
I think there are some clear paths forward here.
ETA: I did not price out my bathroom makeover. A new November goal.
