I was homeschooled with Christian curriculum through 6th grade, so that might have something to do with it. I know a lot about the ancient world around present day Israel, though

We learned that the war of 1812 was caused by the British impressing our (American) sailors.

So my brothers and I would go around doing stunts, bits, and tricks and ask, “Are you impressed yet? How about now? How about now?”

I am worried about Jan. 20. I am worried that there will be no plan to fight another insurrection and that the cops or national guard or whoever will be overwhelmed by sheer numbers of rioters.
Will they learn from their mistakes? The cops/guard/security folks, I mean.
It’s gonna be a long couple of weeks.
